Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes!

Yes, it’s time for some change! (Although, unlike the graphic, I’m not opposed to receiving coins either.)

In recent months, I’ve thought about how I’m not really making good use of my main website (www.JeffSwesky.com). It’s been hard enough finding the time to write new blog posts, so the content on my website is definitely stale. I like the functionality included in WordPress blogs and get frustrated with my website built by Joomla, so a couple computer savvy friends of mine recommended that I try building a WordPress website. They said I can even export my blog posts from here and import them into my new WordPress website.

So, during recent late night bouts at the computer, I said what the hell and went for it. I still have some work to do, but know have a slick-looking (at least in my opinion) website that also doubles as my blog. Plus I have some cool one-click buttons to my Facebook Fan page and my Linked In and Twitter accounts. I also have links for visitors to look up and even purchase (if they so desire) copies of my books on Amazon.

Some of the functionality of the WordPress blogs seem to be missing from the WordPress website, but I believe there are loads of plugins to recoup that functionality and probably even allow for more features. Time will tell. But so far, I am very pleased with the change.

I will be phasing out this blog; however, since I won’t have a need for it. I’ll be doing plenty of rambling at www.JeffSwesky.com. Please stop by and leave me  a comment. And if you want to keep updated when new posts are published, please sign up with your email to follow my site.
